ETC/// SNOW DAYS

The snow is gently falling outside right now to join the other we already have on the ground.

Here in the South we enjoy a little snow to make it exciting. I don't want as much as our Northern

states have.

I read a devotional using snow and I thought I would share it with everyone. It is from a

devotional by Stephen J Carter.

The title is Snow for Slowing Down  A little boy ask his Mom why God got let it keep

snowing so much? The Mom answers "God is making it snow because He thinks we've been

going to fast and should slow down? What a great answer, snow days to make us slow down

and relax and have fun and spend time with the family.I know our Northern states have to have

a lot of snow and they have this year to slow down.

Of course not everyone will agree that snow can be a blessing in disguise but sometimes

blessings are found when you look for them. Some of our snow covered in ice.

Make the best of the days whatever they bring
Until next time  Linda

ETC///FYI Postcrossings

I read about this site in a Guidepost magazine. It is a site where you can send and receive

postcards to the world. I checked it out and have joined this project. I loved having penpals

from around the world and kept in touch for a few years writing back and forth to different

people and then it just sort of stopped.

The web site is postcrossings.com .You go the site and sign up and give them the details they

need etc. They will send you a name and address and a short profile it is random so you

never know who or from what country. You send that person a postcard and as you get started

your name will be included and you will start receiving postcards. The site has a way to

track your traveling postcards and you can see when it was delivered to that person.

When you received a post card it has a place to register your card and post a photo of it.

It has a lot more features and if you love to get mail I think you will enjoy it. The cost as of now

to mail a post card internationally is 1.15.
 This is my first received
postcard from Finland  Check it out and see if this is a project you might be interested in

Thanks and have a Blessed Day

ETC----Throwback Thursday

This is a new trend on social media sites to post old photos of years past. A great way to

remember good times and old friends. Let me see what I can find to post but mine will

probably not be that old.

Today has been a do nothing day for me I am still in PJ's and the only thing I have

done today is take my dogs out. A lazybones I have been today.

These are my throwback Thursday photos of family Easter Egg Hunt 2014.

Looking so forward to Spring Time   In going with the theme of my do nothing day.

Local Places

We are finding and checking out some local places. We found this place in Castalia

Small Town USA. By day it is a antique store and homemade gift items. It is also

a place of music. You can check them out on Facebook to see when they are having a

performance. It was only 10.00 for the show we saw. We saw the band August Road

and also had a visit by "Elvis"

We really enjoyed our time there and plan to go again. I hope you enjoy my review of

Small Town USA and will go and support them and the groups that have performing.

Until Next Time
God Bless and Take Care

I am BACK!!

Hello everyone

I have missed sharing with you and I hope you have missed reading my blog.

This time of year is always a busy time with lots of stuff going on PLUS my computer was

a piece of junk. I am now writing on my new computer thanks to QVC easy pay. I just got it

today and so far it is great.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas season. It goes by so fast.

I was sick for about three weeks with some kind of virus, flu or whatever. I had to go

to the Dr on NewYears Eve and get some meds to help get rid of it. The cough was the

worse I have had in a long time. I am glad to be back to normal or as normal as I can be.

I will do a little catch up for the last few months with our traveling.

We spent our week at Atlantic Beach and it was great. The weather was good for last

week of Oct into November. We took Coco and Jack (our dogs) and they did great. They

did not like the ocean at all and couldn't get them near it. It as a lot of noise and water for them.

Jim and I went to Myrtle Beach the first of December and we were able to attend a couple

of Christmas Shows. We saw Jersey Boys at the Palace Theater and went to Pirates Dinner

and show. We really enjoyed our time at Myrtle Beach and plan to return. I haven't got

my photos on this computer yet but will share some later.

I will do my best to share with you on a regularly. Thanks for reading and sharing

Until Next time God Bless

ETC A Goodbye for Mr B

This is my furbaby Mr B I had to say good bye to him on Oct 25 2014, It was a heartbreaking
decision but he was so very sick. He was wasting away and could barely move. I have cried so
many tears and I still tear up just thinking about him. He was ours since a puppy and he was 7.
He was such a baby so scared of thunder .The thunder coat was a blessing for him.

He loved to sit in your lap even though before he got sick he was over 60 pounds. We never
could stop him from jumping up on you to say hello. He was a special big guy and will
always be missed.

RIP MR B
