Veterans Day

This is a day for all of us to take time to Thank our Veterans for their service to our country.

It has cost them alot in so many ways.

On this Veterans Day I wanted to share our visit to the National Museum of the Marine

Corps in Quantico, Virginia. My husband served in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam

War.

The museum was dedicated Nove 10, 2006 on the 231st birthday of the Marine Corp

It had exhibits showing the history of the Corp and the battles they took part in.

The design on the museum evokes the WW11 raising of the flag on IwoJima

This is an exhibit from the Tet and Hue City Vietnam War Gallery

.This museum is a must if you are ever in the Quantico, Virginia area.
